So a couple evenings ago, I was sitting around a table, coffee cup in hand, with a few other local activists, chatting with Indiana Congressman Mike Pence. ‘Tis the season of Lincoln Day Dinners in Republican politics, and Congressman Pence was in town to address Howard County’s version of the same that night. As a precursor to sharing a few pieces of information (yes, we touched on an upcoming gubernatorial race), the Congressman asked that we all share a little bit about ourselves and, in essence, what had brought us to the gathering that day.
